Imagine my surprise to log into wow to find Sylfie wearing Uyo’s textures. Freaking strange.

Last November during our visit we were lucky enough to visit the historical dockyard during their Victorian Christmas celebrations. Here’s a few snaps from it.

We got us three black widows today from World of Aquatics. It’s my second time there and will probably become a regular haunt for me’n'my sweetie. They have a fantastic range of fish, birds, scaly and slimy things as well as mice and rats. It’s a really well kept shop, every cage/tank is clean and the staff are always polite and helpful. Their prices are very good.

Widows are settling in well so far, they’re the biggest ones we’ve got, near the size of some of our silver dollars.

I also finally got around to getting a picture of Jake uploaded. This was taken in February during his moult. He’s grown a lot since then!

We visited Portchester castle during our stay with my love’s parents last November. A beautiful place, though it was too cold a day to stand still taking photos for long.

Neat. I found out today that Cage and Aviary birds have their own blog now. They also tweet. On Twitter.

In other news, I bought a hideous pink suitcase today. Pretty sturdy but such a horrible colour.

The label claims it’s:

• comfort grip handle
• new fashionable wheels
• multiple fully zipped compartments.

Fashionable wheels? Do people seriously worry about how fashionable their wheels are?

Honestly. Says something about it that the wheels are it’s major selling point. Funny how it doesn’t mention the awful colour.

Reason I bought it is we’re going to stay with his parents for a week this easter. Really can’t wait, I’m hoping the weather’ll be nicer than last time I visited (November). Got a long list of things to do including visiting Portsmouth’s historical dockyard again, Gosport’s pet store and an aquarium in S. Hampton. Really can’t wait <3

Sometimes we get the weirdest customers and/or jobs in. They do make me giggle though.

Recently some guy came in and started asking about virus protection. “I do know about viruses and things. I use Mozzarella Firefox”.

And then there’s the phonecalls too.. boss II has started keeping track of the sillies.

C. Can I upgrade my Norton, because I don’t have ‘XP slash Vista’, I have ‘XP slash Home’.
S. ‘Slash’ means ‘or’ sir.

C. Is my keyboard wireless? (over telephone)
S. I am not sure sir…does it have a wire?

C. My router doesn’t work.
S. What lights have you got?
C. None.
S. Have you turned the power on?
C. Oh, do I have to do that?

C. I can’t send email, What’s wrong?
S. Can you browse the Internet?
C. No.
S. Are you connected to the Internet?
C. No, but the wireless light on the laptop is on.

C. I bought a hard drive from you earlier.
S. Right
C. It’s blank, isn’t it?
S. Err, yes.
C. How do I start Windows then?

C. I had to un-install my printer. Do I use my flash drive disc or my IDE disc to re-install?
S. What make is your printer?
C. HP.
S. Use the disc that says ‘HP’ on it.
C. Oh. Ok then.

C. I just booted up my computer and it’s asking for a password. Does that mean I have to type in a password?
S. Urrm, normally yes.
C. Oh OK then, bye. Click brrrr.

C. (Standing outside back door, under shop sign, computers everywhere inside) Am I at the right shop?
S. Urm. I don’t know. What shop did you want?
C. Urm the Computer one.
S. Yes then. Come on in.

C. The numbers in the corner of the screen keep changing.
S. The clock you mean?
C. Oh, is that a clock, I don’t really look at it.

Can’t figure out if I love or hate my job because of it ^~

Keep meaning to update but things are..busy. See title.

Asides from the usual family and work commitments my grandfather passed away Saturday night.

Wordpress will be updated shortly. As for the content..soon, maybe..perhaps..promise.

Apologies for the lack of updates, I’m in the process of having hosting upgraded and it’s had a few hiccups. Add flu to that, work and a new baby and we have a busy Vicky.
