It is a gathering of Horde RP’ers, to populate the Hammerfall and make it feel real for one night. There is no objective, except for some good Roleplay.

Ha! if you can get here in one piece, survive the guards, and don’t mind some aggro, than feel free. It will all add to the flavour… : )

What it isn’t! – and The Rules

• This is NOT a scripted, story-driven event.
• The only ’storyline’ is whatever you choose to bring with you.
• It is NOT an excuse to indulge in inter-guild rivalry, or aggression. By all means, discuss, debate, argue IC, but not so that it ruins the atmosphere, or detracts from others’ RP conversations.
• IC threats, abuse, shouts, heckles etc. toward other players due to their guild, faction, class etc. will be dealt with harshly!
• PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE: absolutely NO DUELING, SPAMMING SPELLS, SPAMMING OF ANY OTHER KIND or behaviour designed to break immersion, grief, or otherwise cause harrassment.
• Pets are allowed in the town.
• Please remember that other players also need to use the facilities of Hammerfall. Please be considerate.
• Any griefers, lolboys, idiots etc. should not be encouraged, simply place them on your Ignore list, and report them.

To the heart of it

For one night of the week we want Hammerfall to resemble a real town, in a ‘real’ fantasy setting. Therefore it should be possible for a traveller to visit the island, and see a variety of people, all acting in character. Drinking in the Inn, swapping storys, training with swords etc. etc etc.

It doesn’t matter what you do, as long as you RP it! Although the Inn is the heart of our ‘event’, it is by no means limited to it. It is equally viable for you to walk around as a travelling merchant selling fish, pose as a master swordsman and give lessons on sparring etc. simply sit morosely, staring out over the plains with a grim tale of death of the waves to tell to all who are interested, or come in search of a future husband! The possibilities are only limited to your own imagination.

Or just drop by the inn for a drink and a chat.

Astranaar continues to be a thriving and growing community, welcoming more to take part in its town life. Kaldorei are welcome to come, regardless of place of residence, non-Kaldorei races are very much welcome, regardless of their duties or position aslong as they respect Kaldorei law.

Astranaar will continue to be under the protection of the now officially sanctioned and blessed Silverleaf Sentinels. Further details for events during the town gathering will be placed below as they are made known to Watcher Moonglow.

Current events include:

• The Silverleaf shall again be hosting an archery contest to celebrate the Goddess, this contest will include a prize for the winner and a gift to the worst archer.
• The final rounds of the wrestling/spar contest will be held by Captain Laythe Steelleaf.
• Ishtalla, a wise druid of the wilds will be avaliable to provide advice to all whom need it.
• This weekends gathering will be dominated by a mission led jointly by the Mystral Blades and the Silverleaf Sentinels, details will be given on the night.

The event is still looking for traders, service providers and a great deal of others to make the village more filled with life! Contact the village authorities for permission before setting up your stall!

Wednesday Nights, 9 to midnight in the Mystic Ward, Ironforge

No one enjoyed a good cigar more than Fras Siabi, the smoke shop owner in Stratholme who refused to let something like the Scourge invasion separate him from his vaunted tobacco. In honor of his dedication*, Gray Tiger Shipping & Freight is now hosting a weekly gathering in a vacant house in the Mystic Ward of Ironforge.

Each Wednesday, the hosts quietly convert the house into a club, with cloth-covered divans and plush chairs, where patrons can come and enjoy a wide variety of the finest tobaccos harvested from around the world. Each week they feature a different selection of cigars, cigarettes, pipe tobacco and snuff. Some may enjoy the smooth smokiness of the honeyed tobacco in the hookah.

Rumor has it that, in addition to a good smoke and good conversation, some patrons choose to test their luck in various games of chance. Given the concern some legal authorities have about such things, that has remained only a rumor.

After midnight, the club shuts down, the spittoons are cleaned and collected, the hookah is packed up, the house is returned to its normally drab state, and the neighborhood is quiet – until the following Wednesday when it all happens again.

Anyway, ol’ Belm at tha Thunderbrew Distillery owes me a favor or two and has decided ta let us hold our little club in his fine establishment. Though he might owe me another after the fortune he makes off all the new business we’re throwin’ him. Anyway! Us over at Drunk and Disorderly ‘ave decided ta throw tagether a little meetin’ every week. We gonna call it Drink Club. What is Drink Club ye ask? Well, it’s a club. Where ye drink. A lot. We gonna have prizes too. Ten gold pieces ta whoever doesn’t puke the fastest. Now, we do have a few rules ye need ta know about:

First rule about Drink Club: Ye do not talk about drink club. Ye can yell about drink club, ye can bellow about drink club, ye can babble incoherently about drink club. Just no talkin’. Talkin is fer sobers.

Second rule about Drink Club: Ye do not talk about drenk club. Wait, did I say that one already? Right.

Eiada gazed over the vast plains of Mulgore with a sense of pride, the feathers adorning the head of her staff dancing in the soft breeze that passed over the bluffs. It was not often that she had the time to take in the beauty of her new home … she was always on the move nowadays, rarely taking a moment to rest. Her duties in the Earthspear Tribe had kept her busy, attending to the newer members seeking to take their rites of initiation and its general day to day upkeeping. With the Chieftain away it was up to her and her beloved mate, Onatak to keep things in check.

Peering over her shoulder she smiled, the bluffs were busier than ever this evening and with good reason. The tribe was to host a story circle on the high rise, inviting men and women from all across the world to tell their tales and enjoy the company of fresh faces. Eiada couldn’t help but feel disheartened however, she had no epic tale of valor and heroism to tell though many expected it of her.

But there was no time for self pity, not today. Today the Earthspear Tribe would make a name for themselves and encourage nomadic Tauren from far away places to finally join a tribe, their tribe. Today was a day where heroes and adventurers from all across the land could take a moment to rest their weary bodies and revel in the glory of the Horde.

The Earhmother had blessed them.
