Or if alchohol isn’t your thing, we have various herbs from the far reaches of Azeroth to calm you down, raise you up or even stop you all together! That’s right, there’s something for everyone at Tel’s Travelling Tankard!”

Tel’ Vysharai is fed up with laws and regulations. The taverns and inns are being restricted by the City Watch’s rules, and the fun and wild joy is being squeezed from the establishments! So, for one night only, Tel’ is bringing the inhabitants of Stormwind a taste of a wild, brawling drunk’s tavern! Utilising his picklocking skills he’ll be setting up his travelling tavern in the entrance to Cut Throat Alley. Various drinks will be on offer for you to buy at low prices, and even if you run out of money, gambling sessions are being held to win bags of cash! As well as this Tel’ has aqquired the help of a local chef to serve various cuisine to the good citizens that come along, so be sure to come by and have a good hot bowl of stew before you get drunk of your head!

What reason then isn’t there to come down, smoke some Peacebloom and Deathweed cigars and enjoy yourself! We hope to see you there!

Right, this is my first event, and I want to try and start things off with a bang!

Basically I’m going to be setting up a makeshift tavern in the street by Cut Throat Alley for people to come by and have some fun. If it’s empty I will hopefully use the entrance to Cut Throat Alley as well, although if anyone is really set against me standing in it to sell beer, please send me a PM on the Archives!

The idea is to try and draw Stormwind’s dark and shady citizens and characters into the limelight, so the mass murderers can speak to the cheesy rip-off salesmen. Hopefully it will make for some rather intresting conversation. However, anyone is welcome to come along and join in, and I don’t discourage you unless your IC character has a large aversion to drunk gnomes. The more the merrier I say! Maybe even the Stormwind City Watch might like to pop by and try and shut down the stall early, just to make things more intresting!

On another note, I know people have varying tastes when it comes to selling things ingame. I personally am going to be using emotes to act out this event, as it will save both me and you cash. Also, by using emotes, the range of goods on offer can be made increasingly whacky and varied as well as what people pay with! So this means all drinks, trade goods and gambling prize money will be made up with emotes!

A special thanks to Piccens who has kindly offered to get stuck in with the roleplay and cook us up some tasty food for the evening. This means that the range of items on offer to buy has increased, so hopefully on Thursday we’ll be seeing various edible treats for the citizens of Stormwind, as well as maybe some inedible ones!

A brief round up!

• Come ready to have fun! It isn’t an ordinary sit down and drink tavern!
• No ingame money. Emoting and imagination only please!
• No strippers or naked dancing night elves. I know were a wild tavern, but were not Goldshireans! You will be ignored!
• In the description I’ve put 9pm ingame time till late. Basically, I’ll be starting at 9, and will cut off when the flow of people begins to die down and everyone disperses, but hopefully we’ll have a good hour or two of roleplay before that happens!
