Explorer Taminak and his loyal gnome friend Fiblerod peered around, they knew that the siege had aided the attacks within Ulduar, hero’s day after day charged forth into the Depths of the Titan prison, fighting off dark creatures of the depths, heading to they final victory against Yogg-Saron.

But what of those left above?

Lokens defeat had occured swift within the Halls of Lighting, his iron dwarves still plagued the lands above, his minions fighting day after day, pushing back the Earthen. With the Explorers gaze hanging over Ulduar itself, it seemed as though Stormpeaks mattered little, but that was about to change…..

As a summarising of what the discussions of the ‘commoners of Silvermoon’ turned into, I will now present

The Citizens Union – A trading co. & grassroot organisation

The goal is to focus on the world rather than the warcraft and add some more folksy RP in the city.
We, in the Citizens Union, think that it can sometimes be difficult to find simple and more common-like RP in the capitals.

People does not nessesarily have to be highly self-important drama-starters and/or unable to do anything constructive. This is one of the facts that this guild’s goal might be to prove.

This guild has been formed for the players who just wants to play the learned back-attitude citizen, adding the authentic citizen-life in the cities.
This can be the way to find easier RP. As an example – who would go ask some spooky kind of boogie man, sitting in the shadowy corner of a tavern? Of course people generally find contact and spontaneous RP with street vendors and more welcoming people. Who would not like to represent that and be a part of that?

In relation to the currently discussed Silvermoon Council, this aslo will have a political part, representing the citizens and every society classes. The more civilisation and members of the Citizens Union, the more power the union will gain as a grassroot organisation. If you are interested in testing your skills as a politician, here will be an opportunity.

Reniel pondered the pages of the journal in front of her, spooning another lump of ice cream into her mouth as she sat cross-legged on the bed. She’d pondered the dilemma a thousand times, but every attempt kept leading her back to the same option. The samples provided by her excursion into Deadwind Pass the previous week had all reacted violently to her various forms of analysis, rendering any kind of study completely impossibe. After a few hours of reading it hadn’t been hard to discern that some kind of demonic taint was responsible for this, but according to the journals of past travelers the only source of such a taint in the area would be something within Karazhan itself. Try as she might, there simply wasn’t a way to cleanse or bypass the interference coming from whatever was inside the tower. That left only one option, the one she’d been dreading.
Gulping down the cold ice cream, Reniel untucked her legs from underneath her and shuffled nervously over towards the dresser. Pulling out a leather satchel, she began packing.

Writers of Azeroth! Read this and consider the request of The Church of Light. We are in need of your creative minds and skillful hand to contribute with more written works for our libraries, and to expand the knowledge and enligthment to the people.

On May 24 on the Second Bell in afternoon in the City Hall of Stormwind, the church will be hosting a official gathering for writers and poets to comission and present their works to his Grace Bishop Belano Velithos of the Cathedral. Those who contribute a complete work will be paid a fair sum of gold and those who have written the most exclusive literatures will be rewarded more handsomely and also recieve a honorary mention in the publishing!

The church is especially looking for material related to the Light. But other areas are welcome as well, as long they are appropriate.

Sign up by the clerk in the City Hall and arrive on the date to participate, with a ready copy to present.

“Hear ye hear ye, people of Stormwind!

It’s time to pay your taxes again! Under the support of the council of Nobles and our beloved king Wrynn, the taxes are now increased to a ratio of 35%, and will be gathered regurly once every 2nd week!

The collection will take place in the trade district and old town, starting this Saturday between 18:00-20:00!

Pay your taxes so that Stormwind may prosper, pay them to do your civic duty to the kingdom! Pay them so that we may be safe!

Kings honour, and light be with you, citizens!”

Across the cities of the Horde handwritten flyers can be found on billboards or just lying about on tables in inns. The handwriting is somewhat clumsy and quite large. It reads:

” Greetings brotha’s and sistah’s of the Horde.

I be havin an idea for an event and I wanna invite ya all to come. ‘Cause many a time people, during me work as barmaid, dey want me to lend dem an ear for their stories of war and love or they just want ta whine about their boss. Just I only have so much ears so I thought maybe it be a good idea ta try and get sometin’ called ‘open talking stick night’ in di bar.
So dis way, many ears can assemble to be lend ta people dat want ta talk about their adventures or maybe dey wanna boast about their latest grand duel or whatevva.

Now how dis works is we be ‘avin an evening in the ‘Salty Sailor Tavern’ in Booty Bay next week di fourth day of di week. Ya can come in, and when ya have a story to tell, or perhaps a song ta sing, ya know like a ballad or sommit, ya sign in at the bar. Ya will be called on (the following letters are crossed through but it seems to say ‘di table’) the stage when it be your turn. Ya’ll be given di Talking Stick which means it is your turn to tell ya tales. Now make sure ya got something good non? And don’t make it too long, like say, try ta keep it within fifteen ta twenty minutes.
If the audience like ya, we can provide ya wid some free drinks and maybe some staged time on anodda night. So on the end of ya turn we see what di results were by havin’ di audience applaud for ya.

Also for di audience, during the evening drinks will be on discount and ya will find nibbles and munchies on di tables! Ya’re allowed ta bring your own goods, provided ya don’t consume dem but use dem to make sure di person on di stage gets an idea of ‘ow ya be liking di performance. ”

A very neatly handwritten sheet of paper is pinned to the Silvermoon noticeboard.

Dear archaeologists, scientists, bodyguards and general magicy-type people of the city. On the first Sunday of next month a small team of surveyors, led by members of the Seneschal Temple, will be embarking on a trip into Deadwind Pass in order to survey the ruins of the town present there. It is our intention to study and sample the residual magical energies and artifacts left within the area, in the hopes to garner a new understanding of information related to the True Arcana.
If recent reports are accruate, then the area in question may still be inhabited by several violent spirits. As such, bodyguards for the expedition shall be required and will be paid a reasonable fee for their efforts.

All interested parties should gather in the Court of the Sun in Silvermoon City at four hours past noon on the Sunday.

Across many towns and cities of the Horde and neutral factions, large, colourful posters covered in potion stains read:

“Hear ye, good folk of the Horde! The Azeroth’s Association of Alchemy Afficionados (AAAA) will soon be hosting a competition to determine the most skillful alchemist of our time! Do YOU think you know how to concoct concoctions? Are you a potent potionmaster? Elixirs have no more secrets for you? Then come on over to t he Valley of Honour in slightly more than a week with your best ingredients, and mix in front of a panel of selected judges!

That leaves you 10 days to collect ingredients, elaborate the most stunning recipe and work your alchemical know-how to create the Panacea Universalis for us! Rewards include special AAAA potions, vanity-pets, trips to Shatterspear Village and much much more!

Directions to the site: After leaving Razor Hill, head along the north road for a few days, across the wilderness of Durotar, until you reach the gates of our capital. Cross the Valley of Strength, and hurry along through the Drag, until you spot the Valley of Honour. Take a sharp left, and we’ll be on the bank of the little pool, waiting.
