What’s the House of Goldendawn?

As its name indicates House of Goldedawn is a House, formed by Sin’dorei members, a guild of heavy RP and soft PVE of the Server of Argent Dawn.

Why Sin’dorei?

We really believe that could be an awesome role behind the race-guilds.

That means that House of Goldendawn is ICly racist?

Definitively not. Although the House feels an obvious inclination towards the Sin’ dorei, does not discriminate against the other races more than by their actions, like to the own Sin’ dorei. To be a Sin’ dorei will not exempt to anybody’s “bad” actions to be criticized, in the same way that will not be erased of “criticizable” all the actions of a person only because he belongs to a different race.

Why a House?

We actually think that the guild role of a House, is the one that fits best with a Sin’dorei guild.

Why Goldendawn?

The house of Goldendawn is the noble house to which Eledia Lianore, founder of the guild, belongs to is last descendant pf. The reasons to relate the guild to the House are more Icly than OOCly. In resume, was decided open the House to new members, bringing it a special organization.

What makes the House of Goldendawn different than other Sin’dorei guilds?

The House of Goldendawn does not have one unique leader. The house is divided in three commands: Blood Knights, Explorers, Magisters; which are led by three Commanders, as they possess the leadership of the guild.

Why three commands and commanders?

We guess that after the race, the class is an –awesome- source for the roleplay. We hope that will be easier for our members to work and roleplay together between their own class members, and then, with the rest.

Also, we have in mind that, as people, we can do mistakes. And, even if this is a game, why not play it better? We think that three minds, three opinions, will help the guild better than just one. Of course, ICly, a Magister would lead better a group of magisters than a Farstrider or a Blood Knight.

What are the aims of this House?

The Sin’dorei have pass through very hard moments in the last years. Even the splendor of Quel’Thalas decayed too. The work in the North is accumulated, and the use of the magic is causing serious problems to Azeroth. The first aim of the guild is short this problems, as far as possible, trough a heavy RP and a soft PVE.

We won’t be actively PVP but, of course, the House will defend Quel’Thalas and, also, answer to attack if the commanders think that it’s necessary.

We believe too that there’s an awesome roleplay source with the currently situation of the magisters (With the return of Dalaran, the restoration of the Sunwell, and all the magic troubles and Malygos stuff…) that’s why there’s a Magister command as well. To improve the research of new magic sources, less addictives or painfull for the environment, and to everything involving the matter of the magic.

What’s the situation of the House nowadays?

We have just start! We are three commanders . New projects are actually hard. We know it. All the people use to want to join to a large and already established guild. But we won’t give up! We don’t want a LARGE guild. We actually prefer to have 30 members, that know to each other, that can develop their background at the guild, than 100 unknown members.

She goes by many names. “The Lady, the Fey Enchantress, the Holy Maiden.” Though who she is truly none shall ever know. Her wisdom knows no bounds, her beauty captivates the hearts of most men and her devotion to all that is good is limitless. Since the first meeting with Emmanuel, she has appeared too many other Knights and unknowing followers of her four tenants. Chivalry, Honour, Duty and Gallantry. It’s these people that became her word, her fist and more importantly her shield.
The lady chose a symbol for her followers which was a single wooden shield. Symbolizing to protect without want for power or wealth.

Unto Agglax, Cardinal of the Forgotten Shadow, the Lord-Speaker Willets sends greetings.
Recently, transgressions against the Cult from the zealots of the Scarlet Crusade and those still loyal to the traitor Varimathras have put tremendous pressure on our fair organisation. Together with the mystery surrounding the disappearence of the Dread-Father and his Inner Circle, we are in a precarious situation. But fear not Brother. I bring news of our great leader. He returns…

Word comes from one of the Dread-Father’s favoured, Sarol, that our dark master has achieved ascension to the Shadow, along with the entire Inner Circle. Glorious is his name! We are to prepare for his arrival. We have been forced into a frontal role regarding the Lich King and other threats (Including that of the Argent Crusade, but we shall speak further of this in two days) and so I present the Lord-Executor Barathus Thrigor; newly appointed leader of the Cult’s personal branch of Deathguard. He has proven to be a promising servitor and has been summoned to the Undercity to meet with me again personally. It is our duty to inform you that we shall be out of contact for several days to enact our newest experiment in service to the Dread-Father. We need war machines, and the powerful Kodo beast remains in Desolace will suit our purposes when animated by the shadow clergy. I can say no more and instead will allow all our plans to be explained when the dark one himself returns to us.

The Town of Hillsbrad is recruiting! We are looking for active roleplayers to fufill the roles of anything they want. A guard, a council member, a shopekeeper – anything :)

Who are we?

We are a community. Thats the bottom line. We are an IC community that bases our RP in the Hillsbrad Fields. As being an RP guild our RP is not restircted to that. Other guilds are always welcome at the events we host in the future.

Events

The Town of Hillsbrad will host weekly Harvest Market Events, where the town traders and townsfolk can sell their wears to each other and outsiders. Traders and merchants from outside the guild are also welcome to set up shop during these events. However you must contact guard captain and magistrate Ruthgaar In game so that we know if you will be coming.

Requirements

A few requirements for people willing to join :)

  • Humans, dwarves and gnomes only – Although draenei and night elf players are welcome to the events such as markets. Players of these races may not be allowed to join the guild itself.
  • You must be level 10 to join – Not much to ask is it? This is the base level for the guilds members/applicants. You must be level 12 if you are willing to be a guard. Due to the chainmail set.
  • Be active – This is a must, the guild has suffered badly due to inactivity from members. I understand people have lives outside of the game. Im not asking you to be active every day. Just attend our events and contribute. And we’ll be just fine.

Contact me here or in-game.

Light be with you.

Our race has suffered too much under the fel shadow. They forced us to leave our homeworld and constantly seek for a refuge in the immense universe.Hunted like beasts by our man’ari brethren who sought to remove us from the face of this world…No more run,no more fear…no…more..pain

From today an army was borned…an army who seeks to destroy the demon foes and anyone who carries the taint. This is the day when they will run and we will hunt them across the universe! From this day we fight not only for Argus but for all the free worlds who have fallen under their legions!Today we will make a little change that will bring great results.

If any fellow draenei wishes to join my brigade, then he will be welcome

The First Blood Legion is a horde military unit commissioned by the war council. While formed recently (still signing the charter) the unit has received a lot of funding from the horde war machine. The legion, led by Admiral Disra, once formed will be stationed in a larger city. From there, it will go on ‘deployments’ to other parts around Azeroth. From Grom’Gol to Tarren Mill. For those interested, you are to contact your local recruiting office and tell them you want to join the legion

The Earthfury Clan - That's Ergoth at the front *nod*

THE EARTHFURY CLAN

Well. What can I say about this fantastic Guild i’ve came to lead once more. It’s done me proud for the entirety of it’s existance and we’re once again ready to mass produce the RP we’re famous for. Together with the leading members of the other major Horde roleplaying Guilds, all of who’m are dear friends of mine and some former guild members, we are slowly beating back the shadow of inactivity in RP that always lies in wait to threaten what we have built. Join our effort, join the Earthfury Clan!

Who we are

So, you might have heard of the Earthfury Clan being mentioned in-game, on the forums, seen us around, maybe you’ve roleplayed with us. But who are we? What are we all about? And why should you join us? I’ll tell you!

We are one of the biggest and certainly the most well known roleplaying guild on the Hordeside of Steamwheedle Cartel. We consider our clan to be ‘heavy’ RP – meaning that roleplaying is what we concentrate on first and foremost, and that we do our very best to ensure that our RP is as fun, challenging and stimulating as it can be. Many of us enjoy PvP and PVE as well, but participating in that is by no means required to remain a valued part of our guild.

IC, we are the Orcish Clan founded by Chieftain Hrisskar Doomforge the Elder after the battle of Mount Hyjal, sworn to protect Kalimdor from another incident of such cataclysmic magnitude. Devoted to the ancestors and elemental spirits that inhabit everything in the natural world, Shamanism is the prime focus of the Earthfury Clan. We are defenders, teachers and students. Our bond is strong with the Trolls of Malaka’jin and the Tauren of Sun Rock Retreat and the Stronghoof Tribe. It’s for this reason, and the beliefs we share, that we accept Tauren and Darkspear Trolls into our ranks.

What can we offer you

  • Frequent and engaging roleplaying, both casual and in form of various events.
  • Weekly RP events: Once a fine success in older days, now our weekly RP events are back, starting with our patrols of central Kalimdor. It is our hope that such things will become an enjoyable place for roleplayers to gather not just of EFC but of other guilds who wish to involve themselves with us. To come are the hunts to replenish the clan’s supply of meat and leather, battle-practice to keep our warriors prepared for the ever-appearing challenges in the future and more.
  • The Horde War Court: This is the gathering of organisations within the Horde which we and other like-minded people use to discuss matters of importance to Kalimdor and plan our future. Every member of the Clan is welcome to attend, and will usually be given a role to perform.
  • The Stonetalon Mountains: While we are a Kalimdor-based guild, our primary home are the fine mountains of Stonetalon and it is here that the majority of our roleplay takes place. Guard the borders and villages of the mountains, hunt the variety of beasts that roam the valleys or commune with the spirits which inhabit this awesome zone.
  • A vibrant and fun guild: Likely even more important than all the RP aspects. We are all mature people here, and are simply trying to enjoy the game the best we can. We help each other, banter in guild chat and generally have a good time. We understand that real life jobs, marriages, studies etc take priority over in-game matters, so we don’t require a particular level of activity and you are not required to come to any events you can’t make it to. This doesn’t mean only come online once a month.
  • At the moment there is about, overall, 25 active members which gives us a wonderful turnout to events. The guild channel is usually never silent with a steadily growing appearance from the morning to a hearty gathering in the evening.
  • A guild which already has build a solid reputation for RP. We have hosted several public events, notably the Feast of the Spirits and you can expect that to continue as time goes on. While we play the game to relax, we are very serious on our members keeping to the server’s rules, such as keeping IC in tbe public channels of /say and /yell.
  • RP-PvP: We have frequently engaged in roleplaying-based PvP fights, notably with ongoing war with the Night Elves and several mini-events with members of other guilds such as the Mountaineers. We’ve even made this a focus point for other RP events such as raids to gain supplies for our battles. We’re reducing our participation in RP-PVP for now, but perhaps in the future this will change and once again the Clan will reign supreme.
  • A leadership that actually listens to regular members. A lot of new ideas have actually came from our New Blood and it’s this fresh approach that we like to see.

What do we require from our members

  • That you are a passionate Roleplayer.
  • You are willing to learn and improve.
  • You’re able to engage and communicate with our members and generally have a laugh.
  • A friendly and helpful attitude. I am not available 24-7 to help you quest. You know what i’m talking about Thazzin, haha.
  • The will to bring your character to an event and take part. Not to just sit there and be watching the telly.
  • Priorities. A lot of us like to raid and PVP too, but if that comes before Roleplay then off you go.

What are we not looking for?

  • Warlocks
  • Death Knights
  • Those uninterested, or outright opposed, to the Shamanistic faith
  • Blood Elves and Forsaken Undead
  • And most importantly, Non-Roleplayers

Did that catch your interest? Do you have any more questions? Or maybe you would like to apply straight away?

You can either apply via the forum at www.earthfury.co.cc, or contact one of the following people for an IC discussion and induction by way of trials:

Chieftain Hrisskar Doomforge the Younger
Head-Shaman of the Wolf-Spirit Rocmar Swiftwolf
Battlemaster Ergoth Shardtooth

Kneeling down, Agara Boarheart thrust three arrows into the snow covered ground before sliding a forth from her quiver. The Alliance forces moved up quietly, trusting in their ability to remain undetected. They hadn’t met the warband yet but then again this much was obvious. They were still alive.

A cruel smirk reached the snipers lips as the battle shout of her Warcaller bit the air. It wasn’t soon before the situation became dire for the Alliance, now panicked at the bottom of the icy gorge. Nerubians, where they had come from she didn’t know; brought by the loud cry and thunder of hoof and paw. The creatures skittered down suddenly behind the Alliance as their forces began to form a defensive circle while the pale charger of the Spellbreaker Alurius bore down the other side of the breach, all of Stormrise fast behind him.

It’d be a good day, she thought to herself. Slay them all she thought and leave with the treasures of Archavon. The blood of both the Nerubians and the Alliance would drench the snow of Wintergrasp. They’d drink on that tonight, she imagined while pulling back her bow string.

She’d be damned however, if the sniper didn’t get the first kill.

Your attention is drawn to the impressive figure of an armored paladin on horseback approaching you at a slow canter. The paladin brings a gauntleted hand to his helm, raising the visor. The lines around his eyes betray his years spent in the saddle, yet it is the look in his eyes that speak to the true weight those years bear on him. The horse canters closer, each hoofstep landing with precision and care. Finally, the paladin murmurs softly to his mount and the horse comes to a stop. Without a word the paladin reaches down into his saddlebag, withdrawing a scroll tied with dark blue ribbon and sealed with blue wax. The paladin smiles as he extends the scroll to you, pressing it firmly in your hand. He then gives you a quick nod before reaching up to once again lower his visor. As your eyes drop to examine the scroll the paladin urges his mount on with a quiet word, his cloak billowing behind him as he gallops away. The seal breaks easily and unrolling the scroll reveals a map and directions written in long, flowing script. You have been invited to journey to the Valorhold. The Vanguard of Valor has called upon you!
