A return to the regular celebrations of the most sacred night of the lunar cycle.
We at the Mystral Blades have decided that this, the holiest night of the Kaldorei lunar calendar, has been left far too low key the last year, amidst the Kaldorei power vacuum at local level. With regional order once again established, we wish once more to revive in full, the celebrations of the night of the moonrise.
We welcome people of all races, to come together on these sacred nights, meet us in Astranaar, and pilgrimage to a place of suitable view of the night sky, to join in an eve of prayer, poetry, music and other arts, as the the Goddess bathes us in the full majesty of her light. The service shall be led by the ever inspirational Priestess Laoise Silvershine, with hopeful contributions from other local priestesses, and any others who wish to contribute their arts.
The next full moon takes place on the sixth night of the next cycle. We ask that everyone arrives in Astranaar for the twenty first hour promptly as possible. This night is spent illuminated in the strongest, most beautiful rays of Her ever illuminating light, and as such, while formal dress is not required, it does no harm, and we ask that at least some effort is made for people to look their best, in a show of respect to the Goddess. This does not mean any specific dress code however any interpretation of this term is welcome so long as the effort is there and true.

Astranaar continues to be a thriving and growing community, welcoming more to take part in its town life. Kaldorei are welcome to come, regardless of place of residence, non-Kaldorei races are very much welcome, regardless of their duties or position aslong as they respect Kaldorei law.
Astranaar will continue to be under the protection of the now officially sanctioned and blessed Silverleaf Sentinels. Further details for events during the town gathering will be placed below as they are made known to Watcher Moonglow.
Current events include:
- The Silverleaf shall again be hosting an archery contest to celebrate the Goddess, this contest will include a prize for the winner and a gift to the worst archer.
- The final rounds of the wrestling/spar contest will be held by Captain Laythe Steelleaf.
- Ishtalla, a wise druid of the wilds will be avaliable to provide advice to all whom need it.
- This weekends gathering will be dominated by a mission led jointly by the Mystral Blades and the Silverleaf Sentinels, details will be given on the night.
The event is still looking for traders, service providers and a great deal of others to make the village more filled with life! Contact the village authorities for permission before setting up your stall!

*NOTICE*
Due to reports of the Plague the Cenarion Circle has ordered the Druids of the Forest to relocate to the Talon Den in the Stonetalon Mountains as to administer a defense and protection of the local Cenarion personnel and the Druids within the Den.
All Druids seeking to aid the Druids of the Forst are to Report to K’var at the Talon Den – Stonetalon Peak where an expedition to Sunrock Retreat whith relief supplies shall depart.

Location: Druids of the Forest have moved to the Talon Den at Stonetalon Peak.
Because of the Plague and the setup of a ‘Safe Zone’ by the Horde the Cenarion Circle have ordered the Druids of the Forest to the Talon Den at the Peak of the mountain to ensure that the local Cenarion Personelle are kept safe and free from infection, including the remains of the Druids of the Talon.
With K’var Emeraldoak’s awakening he has set about to continue many old traditions and customs which, when he was awake, were frequent and common place. A first addition to this is the Emeraldoak tradition of the Tea Ceremony.

A simple and relaxed event in which people shall sip the fine Green Leaf Tea of the Emeraldoak family using traditional tea ware of wood and stone. After tea there will be a short talk from K’var on this week’s topic of ‘The heart beat of the forest’ in which people will be invited to join in meditation and prayer for the forest spirits.

“Fandu-dath-belore?” – Aessina’s Hunt
This night shortly before moonrise, the Keepers of the Grove shall host a hunt. This hunt will be dedicated to Aessina, the forest spirit. All competitors should alert Waywatcher Ilfane Moondancer ahead of time with details regarding their names and origin.
The hunt will take the shape with each competitor being given a list of several items they must find, on arrival at each item, each competitor will be required to answer a riddle from the Waywatcher to gain the code word to complete the list. Once a team has gathered the code word they may hand in their list.
Rules:
- Competitors must report in before 19:00 the day the event takes place.
- Competitors can only be Kaldorei.
- Hostile actions against other competitors will result in an immediate disqualification.
Atempts to cheat will result in a ban from future competitions and punishment details handled by Aessina’s dryads in atonement.
Timetable:
19.00 All competitors gather at the Shrine of Aessina.
19.15 Waywatcher Ilfane Moondancer will enlighten those present of the rules regarding the hunt, and details of what it is they should hunt, before returning to the Shrine of Aessina.
19:30 The hunt starts!
21.30 The event will stop when all competitors have returned, or when its 21.30 hours.
Prizes:
Once all competitors have arrived back, the winning competitor will receive its reward and one mystery reward will be handed out to the competitor picked as to be most in the spirit of Aessina!
