A heavily shrouded figure may have been seen, in the dead of the night, posting this up in all major Alliance towns. It is a deep purple in color, with shining-silver lettering. A dual purpose enchant, obviously expensive, enscrolls it. It causes the paper to send out a shimmer of sparks at certain times. It would also shock anyone who would dare touch it, at any time.

Our Chef Thermoblix has deemed our previous decided location; The Dwarven District in Stormwind City to polluted to host our Ball here.
She claims;
Dust and filth will contaminate not only our drinks, but also our eating experience will be drasticly impaired.
We have headed her advice, and decided to go for the next best location! Telredor in Zangarmarsh.
If you are allergic to mushrooms, please do not attend. (Telredor is a town on a giant mushroom)

THE STORMWIND POST-SPECIAL BREAKING-NEWS ISSUE
GOLD-RUSH FEVER HITS TANARIS!
This very morning, word has reached us at the Stormwind Post of excitable activity in the once desolate deserts of Tanaris, far across the sea in Kalimdor. Hundreds have begun flocking to the dusty, dune-filled land, buying as many shovels and picks as they can carry. The reason? Gold!
In the past month, gold has begun to appear all over the deserts of Tanaris. We interviewed Kirk Stonefield, an Elwynn resident who has recently returned from there. He told us: ‘There’s gold everywhere! Sprouting up from the very sand and rocks, like some sort’a magical fruit! Me and the others couldn’t believe our eyes! We managed to fill several crates full o’ the stuff before running out of storage space and heading back to the Eastern Kingdoms. I’m goin’ back out there tomorrow to snap up the rest!’
But since the discovery of the vast gold reserves, many others have had the same idea as Kirk. Sentient species from all over Azeroth have started travelling to Tanaris in order to make their fortune, quickly forgetting their responsibilities at home: the Stormwind Post has heard reports of farmers, miners and even soldiers packing up and buying boat tickets to Tanaris.
But why the sudden arrival of such vast quantities of gold? We spoke to a Representative of the Gnomish Council of Science, and local-Watchman, Cedric P. Tinkerton. ‘Well,’ the gnome told us, ‘the sudden increase in gold-discovery could be due to a number of reasons. However, most likely is that one of the region’s earthquakes could have caused the gold ore, which was long buried beneath the sand, to move upwards and appear at the surface. Or maybe some sort of asteroid crashed and the gold came from that…anyway, this is all besides the point. People are getting rich out there in Tanaris, and I’m joining the bandwagon before all the gold is claimed! Now out of my way, I need to buy a bigger suitcase!’
With the arrival of so many hopeful gold-hunters in Tanaris, there has also been an increase in the area’s economy. The once desolate port of Steamwheedle is now a thriving hub of trade and commerce, and several merchants and tavern-keeps have decided to set up shop in order to profit from the influx of gold-hunters. Problems have however begun to arise in these quickly growing ‘gold-towns’: as they are far from the jurisdiction of the Alliance, these towns are technically lawless and filled with corruption. The Stormwind Post has heard reports of a number of drunken brawls, gun-fights, gambling and even harlotry in Steamwheedle Port alone. To counteract this, several Priests of the Holy Light have been dispatched to Steamwheedle Port in order to try and bring morality and peace back to the region. We have also been told that the Goblin Trade Cartels have begun to employ some travellers as rudimentary law-enforcers, paid to keep the peace in these various ‘Gold-Towns’.
Will the boom of gold in Tanaris lead to riches and prosperity for those who go seek it, or will it breed nothing but destruction and greed? The Stormwind Post suggests you go find out for yourself! Good luck readers!

Oh yes, I am holding exactly the same thing again. No upgrades, it’s just an excuse to meet people and have some nice chats, some weird laughs and some generic roleplaying.
Masquerade dress-up party
Time: Thursday the 25th of June, at 21.00 server time.
Place: Ratchet, in the Barrens. That’s way it’s easy for us all to attend.
The guild Defenders of Mulgore (that is me) is holding a masquerade party for both factions. That means that Alliance players are welcome, but due to communication difficulties, I can’t reallly host the party for you. With some luck, an Alliance player decides to step up and hold the Alliance part, hopefully in the same place.
The idea is simple: dress up as someone, or something, and come and party. Or if you can’t be arsed, just come and watch. For those of you familiar with the concept of “cosplay” or “costume play”, this is it: Dressing up as something that you feel that others will recognise and think is funny, cool or amazing. In-game, this means finding some gear your character can equip and that will make you look just like… someting.
Find some ragged pants, a silly hat, a filthy shirt and a pitchfork and voilà, you’re a farmer from Durotar. Perhaps a spear and an off-hand fish will make you look just like a devoted fisherman. Or you could grind XXXXXX for the YYYYY set making you look just like…. something that we usually don’t see player characters in, or simply something you look cool in.
If I get ahold of something that would make a decent first prize, and if the turnup is fair (meaning that I’m not there alone) I will hold a little catwalk show, so that all attendees can pose for photos, and after that hold a voting sessions for who gets the grand prize, which will be… whatever I can find (donations welcome).
In case no kind Alliance player volunteers to hold an Alliance show, Alliance players are welcome to join the catwalk show (if any) for the Horde players. Votes can go to any side, and if an Alliance guy or gal or group wins… well, we’ll find a way to transfer whatever prize.
Apart from the show, there will be chat, sillyness, food and drink (bring your own!) and maybe I’ll hold some quiz if I come up with some nice idea or a prize. But don’t hold your breath… the point isn’t that I should outstrain myself, but that a lot of players get a good excuse to gather. Please bring silly disguising trinkets!
Last go, there were a good over 15 people dressing up, and some 20 people attending! But I never hold my hopes up, so with the risk of the whole thing being nothing but me and a hopeful rogue in Defias leather… here goes a try to bring a half-serious, half-silly roleplaying event to all Moonglade players. Hope to see you there the 25thof June!
And yeah, as both sides are welcome… please come unflagged.

The Brightmoon Faire SUMMER SPLASH!
To celebrate the first day of Summer the Brightmoon Faire will be hosting a BBQ Beach Party on Fray Island, June 19th at 7:30pm.
The gathering is paid for!
There will be food and beverages, games and prizes.
Performances: While the Carnies normally only perform during the Darkmoon Faire, we’re making an exception for this event! Check out some of our steller acts!
Drink off eh!: Two people square off with a collection of drinks. The ref calls out for them to drink, both call out “EH!”. The first one to say “EH! …hic” loses the drink off! Prizes to be won!
Boxing… Bare neked boxing!: We’d actually prefer you wear a tabard, or shorts or something. Women are welcome to go topless! This is bare knuckle boxing, no prizes but plenty to brag about later! Betting is encouraged, so is cheating.
Combat Fishing!: That’s right, you heard me. Two people square off with their poles at the ready… on the mark they fish… and attack their opponents! The first person to the designated number of fish, wins! Contest is void if someone wins the duel.
Kissing Booth: There’s no prizes for this one, except the chance to kiss some really great people! Line up, if you dare…

With no specific relation to our guild agenda, the guild Defenders of Mulgore (that is me) is holding a masquerade party for Horde players. That is, Alliance players are naturally all welcome, it’s just that due to communication difficulties, there can’t be much else for you than a a gathering, unless, of course, some Alliance player decides to step up and hold the Alliance part, hopefully in the same place.
In-game, this means finding some gear your character can equip and that will make you look just like… well, I shouldn’t give you any ideas now, should I? Really, I should? Well, find some ragged pants, a silly hat, a filthy shirt and a pitchfork and voilà, you’re a farmer from Durotar. Perhaps a spear and an off-hand fish will make you look just like a devoted fisherman. Or you could take the easy way out and grind XXXXXX for the YYYYY set making you look just like…. something that we usually don’t see player characters in, or simply that you believe you look cooler-than-most in. (And yeah, tier 0.5 is actually awesome, but it’s even more awesome if you invent something completely other!)
If the turnup is fair (read: I’m not sitting there alone clad in Scarlet Armour weeping in solitude) we will hold a little catwalk show, so that all attendees can pose for photos, and after that hold a vote for who gets the grand prize, which will be… well, something. If we can’t find anything fancy to give away, I’ll just settle for some gold. At least worth your while (I hope). Donations are welcome. There won’t be any fancy thing as a booking, just come. Do come as a group; makes the impression manyfold! Maybe, if things turn out to be awesome, we might even have smaller, separate prizes (largely depending on my mood on the day in question, the size of the party and the order of the mob).
In case no kind Alliance player volunteers to hold the Alliance show, Alliance players are welcome to join the catwalk show (if any) for the Horde players. Votes can go to any side, and if an Alliance guy or gal or group wins… well, we’ll find a way to transfer whatever prize.
Apart from the show, there will be chat, sillyness, food and drink (bring your own!) (maybe an achievment!) and I’ll try to come up with some surprise silly whatever-tournament that I won’t say anything about yet, as most such silly things could be abused if people knew what it was about in beforehand. Poets and storytellers are more than welcome! And yeah, brings Orbs of whatever. And you-know-what-fish and what-elixir. Not that it will grant you many winning votes, but it sure is masquerading!
With the risk of the whole thing being nothing but me and a hopeful rogue in Defias leather… here goes a try to bring a half-serious, half-silly roleplaying event to all Moonglade players. Hope to see you there the 2nd of May! (and yeah, come unflagged, please).
